Story of COILMAK
Coilmak is a Turkish machine manufacturing company, who serves to it customers more than two decades. The main area of business is the production and supply of press feeding systems and coil handling equipment.
The company corporate headquarters located in Istanbul, at the Asian side of the city. With a qualified team and modern production methods, we produce our machines at highest level and export to all corners of the world.
With our dedicated teams of engineers and technical gurus we provide tailor made solutions for each of our customers.
Milestones

The history starts in Ankara
The history of Coilmak starts at the last century in 1923, at the same year of establishment of Turkish Respublic. Grandfather of current owner of the company started to produce the carts for the horses. The production started in a small town, then moved to Ankara city at that time.
With the development of agriculture, in 1936 old Mr. Aran decided to produce the agricultural tools. Those tools were very important at that time. There were no any other producer in Turkey. In 1948 a new workshop was opened in Ankara to produce the agricultural equipment. In parallel to agricultural tools, the company started the production of steel gates in 1962. It was an important milestone in the history of Coilmak.
Moving to Istanbul
In 1984 the son of the founder, Mr. Mahir Aran decided to move to Istanbul. He opened the first workshop in Istanbul for metal works. But the production of the machines and equipment only started in 1996. Upon starting to export the machines globally, the company got the brand “Coilmak” in 2004. In 2010 Coilmak moved to a new factory at the Asian side of Istanbul.
In addition to separate machines such as the decoiler, straightener, servo feeder, we also provide a complete solutions for different kind of metal forming applications. We design and supply cut to length lines, coil slitting lines and rollfoming lines, as per customer requirements.
